

TLV JH7.2R-X and JH7.2R-B free float steam traps with thermostatic air venting. Cast steel construction for medium-size and high-pressure process equipment, handling pressures up to 46 barg and temperatures up to 425°C.

TLV JH7.2R-X and JH7.2R-B are reliable and durable cast steel free float steam traps designed for use on medium-size process equipment. The JH7.2R-B model is also suitable for high-pressure process applications. These inline repairable steam traps discharge condensate continuously and automatically at a temperature slightly lower than the saturation temperature.

Maximum allowable pressure (PMA) is 46 barg and maximum allowable temperature (TMA) is 400 °C / 425 °C. These are PRESSURE SHELL DESIGN CONDITIONS, NOT OPERATING CONDITIONS. To avoid abnormal operation, accidents or serious injury, DO NOT use this product outside of the specification range.

NEVER apply direct heat to the float. The float may explode due to increased internal pressure, causing accidents leading to serious injury or damage to property and equipment.
Check to make sure that the pipes connected to the trap have been installed properly:
Operational inspections should be performed at least twice per year, or as called for by trap operating conditions. Steam trap failure may result in temperature drop in the equipment, poor product quality or losses due to steam leakage.

If the expected performance is unachievable after installation of the steam trap, check the following points for appropriate corrective measures.
