Armstrong 2000 Series stainless steel steam humidifiers are lightweight, flexibly configured, and suitable for a wide range of steam pressures with large humidification capacities. With a maximum steam pressure of 0.4 MPa and a maximum humidification capacity of 1.17 t/h, they are designed to meet demanding industrial and commercial requirements.

The primary wetted components of the 2000 Series are constructed from stainless steel. This makes the humidifier ideal not only for standard boiler steam applications but also for sensitive environments requiring pure steam generated from deionized, reverse osmosis (RO), or distilled water.

Key Features

• Corrosion Resistance: Because the core humidification components are made of stainless steel, the 2000 Series avoids problems caused by corrosion, such as the carryover of corrosion byproducts into the air stream.
• High-Efficiency Separation Chamber: Internal baffles force the steam flow to make two 180° turns. This conditions the steam, ensuring optimal deceleration and highly efficient steam-water separation.
• High-Efficiency Silencing: The drying chamber, which is surrounded by the separation chamber, is filled with stainless steel silencing media to absorb most of the noise generated during steam discharge.
• No Condensation from Thermal Radiation: Steam entering the jacketed dispersion tube from the drying chamber is completely surrounded by steam at supply pressure, preventing condensation caused by thermal radiation losses.
• Reliable Inverted Bucket Trap Drainage: The energy-efficient inverted bucket steam trap has only two moving parts, providing highly efficient and reliable drainage. Its structural design ensures it fails in the open position, preventing the humidification system from spraying water even if the trap malfunctions.
• Flexible Configuration: The control valve is installed between the steam strainer and the jacketed dispersion tube. Different types of electric, pneumatic, or manual control valves can be flexibly configured according to actual user needs, reducing procurement costs.

To specify and order the correct humidifier:

1. Specify Control Type: Electric regulation, pneumatic regulation, or manual regulation.
2. Select Humidifier Model: Choose 2100, 2200, or 2300 based on the required capacity.
3. Select Dispersion Tube: Choose the tube model and quantity based on the duct dimensions (e.g., 2100 M-5, 2 units).
4. Electrical Parameters: For electric models, specify control signals and power supply voltage.
5. Accessories: Indicate if a humidistat, air pressure switch, high-limit humidistat, or other accessories are required.
