TLV BE8H-16 Bellows Sealed Globe Valve

The TLV BE8H-16 is a durable bellows sealed globe valve for steam and water. It features a non-rotating stem, maintenance-free bellows seal, and stainless steel plug for reliable shut-off in industrial applications.

TLV BE8H-16 Bellows Sealed Globe Valve

The TLV BE8H-16 is a bellows sealed globe valve with a flanged connection, designed for industrial systems handling steam, water, and other non-hazardous fluids. Its durable stem is protected by both a bellows seal and a secondary gland, ensuring exceptional leak-tightness and safety under demanding conditions.

The non-rotating stem and non-rising handwheel with position indication increase the valve's lifespan and make operation straightforward. Built with a stainless steel plug and seat ring, the BE8H series delivers reliable fluid shut-off across various piping systems.

Installation

TIP

The valve can be installed in any position, however it is recommended to install it with the handwheel upwards.

  • Steam pipelines should be fitted in such a way as to avoid condensate collection; in order to avoid water hammer, a steam trap should be installed.
  • Take note of the medium flow direction, marked with an arrow on the body. Flow direction is established by the following rules:
    • PN16 – PN25 (BE8H-16 / BE8H-25): Under the disc for DN15 – DN150. On the disc for DN200.
    • PN40 (BE8H-40): Under the disc for DN15 – DN100. On the disc for DN125 – DN150.
  • A strainer (wire mesh filter) installed before the valve increases the certainty of correct operation.
