Product Overview

The Spirax Sarco AEL7 Series Electric Actuator is a cost-effective linear output actuator specifically designed for industrial valve control. This series is suitable for Spira-Trol two-way valves (L, K, J series), QL three-way valves, and is also compatible with Hiter 85 series and 1000 series control valves, meeting valve actuation requirements across various industrial applications.

When supplied, actuators are typically pre-mounted on control valves. If supplied separately, ensure the selected actuator has sufficient thrust to reliably close the two-way or three-way control valve within the expected differential pressure. The product supports multiple power supply specifications, control signals, and optional configurations to adapt to different operating conditions, and is certified to multiple international standards to ensure safe and stable operation.

• L and K series DN15-100 assembled with AEL7T spring type can be provided with EN14597 certification (must be noted when ordering).
• EN14597 certification only applies to valves DN15-100 with seat option T-431 stainless steel and standard trim.
• Other sizes, trim types, and seat options are not applicable for EN14597 certification.

Installation Precautions

Pre-Installation Notice

• Installation personnel must have professional knowledge of circuits, systems, and linear actuator operating principles. Only qualified personnel are permitted to operate.
• Valves should be installed horizontally, and actuator position should be adjusted according to valve type and media temperature.
• It is not recommended to install the actuator directly below the valve or in humid environments.
• For separately supplied actuators, confirm that thrust meets valve closing requirements at expected differential pressure.

Ordering Requirements

• If EN14597 certification is required, it must be noted when ordering and only applies to specific configurations.
• Some adapters (such as AEL7XM12) must be ordered separately. Standard adapters refer to the corresponding valve compatibility table.
• Supercapacitor, spring, and other fail mode configurations are factory installation only and cannot be retrofitted on site.
• Potentiometer configuration only applies to actuators with positioners.
