BURKERT 345730 Type 3361 Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve

Bürkert Type 3361 (SKU 345730) electromotive 2-way globe control valve. Features DN 25 clamp connection, PTFE seal, 24V DC supply, and 0-25 bar operating pressure for highly precise, dynamic closed-loop control.

BURKERT 345730 Type 3361 Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve

BURKERT Type 3361 (SKU 345730) is an innovative electromotive 2-way globe control valve designed for demanding operating conditions. The electromotive actuator with a ball screw positions the control cone with the highest precision. A unique feature is its high positioning speed of up to 6 mm/s, which reacts almost delay-free to process signals and can be varied according to customer demands. Pressure variations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position.

The flow-optimized valve body can be equipped with up to 5 different valve seats for precise adaptation according to customer needs. Actuator and valve are adapted perfectly to each other with a closed design and robust surface, ensuring the hygienic requirements of fast and residue-free cleaning are met. With a degree of protection of IP65/IP67 and high impact and vibration resistance, the Type 3361 operates reliably even in harsh environmental conditions.

Product Design and Assembly

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers the force to the closing element. The integrated electronics are controlled either by standard signals or via a fieldbus (digital).

Maintenance and Service

WARNING

Risk of injury from high pressure. Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and vent or drain lines. Spare parts may be replaced only by trained technicians and with the appropriate tools.

Replacing the Control Cone

  1. Set operating state to MANUAL.
  2. Move valve into the open position.
  3. Switch off the supply voltage. Wait until the LED illuminated ring goes out.
  4. Remove the actuator from the valve body.
  5. Knock out the dowel pin using a suitable pin punch (4 mm for DN 10-20, 5 mm for DN 25-50).
  6. Remove the old control cone and attach the new control cone to the spindle.
  7. Align the bores, support the control cone on a prism, and carefully knock in the new dowel pin.
  8. Mount the actuator back on the valve body and apply supply voltage.
  9. Run the X.TUNE function to adjust the position control.
  10. Set operating state back to AUTOMATIC.
