BURKERT 344633 Type 2000 Pneumatically Operated 2/2-Way Angle Seat Valve

BURKERT 344633 Type 2000 pneumatically operated 2/2-way angle seat valve. Features a stainless steel body, clamp connection, PTFE seal, and handles up to 11 bar operating pressure.

BURKERT 344633 Type 2000 Pneumatically Operated 2/2-Way Angle Seat Valve

BURKERT 344633 (Type 2000) is an externally piloted angle seat valve operated with a single-acting piston actuator. The actuator is made of PA (Polyamide), suitable for demanding ambient temperatures. High flow rates are attained with the virtually straight flow path of the 2/2-way stainless steel body. The reliable self-adjusting packing gland provides high sealing integrity. This maintenance-free and robust valve features a clamp connection and PTFE seat seal, making it ideal for the controlled flow of liquid and gaseous media in industrial and hygienic applications.

Control Functions

SymbolDescription
Control function A (CF A)Pneumatically operated 2/2-way on/off valve. Flow direction below seat. Normally closed by spring force.
Control function B (CF B)Pneumatically operated 2/2-way on/off valve. Flow direction below seat. Normally opened by spring force.

Risk of damage due to bursting pipes

Risk of damage due to bursting pipes and bursting equipment when the flow is above the seat. In the case of liquid mediums, water hammer can occur, causing pipes and the device to burst. Do not use valves with flow above the seat for liquid mediums.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation Recommendation

The angle seat valve can be installed in any position, preferably with the actuator face up. Before connecting the valve, ensure the pipelines are flush and stress-free. Observe the direction of flow.

High Pressure Hazard

Risk of injury from high pressure in the system! Turn off the pressure and vent the lines before loosening lines or valves.

Maintenance Work: The actuator of the angle seat valve is maintenance-free. Parts which are subject to natural wear include the pendulum disc and graphite seal. If leaks occur, replace the particular wearing part with an appropriate original spare part.
