Yoshitake SY-37 is a high-performance Y-type strainer constructed from cast stainless steel, designed specifically for applications requiring fine filtration. It is equipped with a fine mesh screen (120 to 200 mesh) as standard, making it ideal for the food, chemical, and petroleum industries where rust prevention and clean media are critical. The design focuses on maximizing the filtration area to maintain high flow rates even as the screen begins to capture debris.

Temperature Limits

The standard PTFE gasket is rated for temperatures up to 100°C. High-temperature versions are available by changing the gasket material:

• 15A–40A: Max temperature 250°C
• 50A: Max temperature 175°C

Pressure Loss Performance

The following chart indicates the pressure loss for the SY-37 model using a 120 mesh screen with water. For mesh counts between 120 and 200, or for fluids other than water, please consult the technical manual for correction factors.

Selection Note

Size 15A to 40A units are assembled without the No. 9 washer shown in the structure diagram. This component is specific to the 50A size.
