BURKERT 308860 Type 2000 is a pneumatically operated 2/2-way angle seat valve designed for the controlled flow of liquid and gaseous media. The externally piloted angle seat valve is operated with a double-acting piston actuator made of Polyamide (PA). High flow rates are attained with the virtually straight flow path. The reliable self-adjusting packing gland provides high sealing integrity. These maintenance-free and robust valves can be retrofitted with a comprehensive range of accessories for position indication, stroke limitation, or manual override.

This specific model features a stainless steel body, PTFE seat seals, and a G 1 1/2 internal thread connection. It is ATEX and IECEx approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Safety Note

Risk of damage due to bursting pipes and bursting equipment when the flow is above the seat. In the case of liquid mediums, water hammer can occur, causing pipes and the device to burst. Do not use valves with flow above the seat for liquid mediums.
