Yoshitake DS-10 series baffle-type drain separators for steam and air systems. Features full stainless steel construction, 2.0 MPa max pressure, and 220°C temperature resistance.

Yoshitake DS-10 series drain separators are high-performance baffle-type devices designed to efficiently remove condensate and moisture from steam, compressed air, and gas pipelines. Constructed entirely from stainless steel (SUS316 equivalent), these separators offer exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring a long service life in demanding industrial environments. By removing droplets and particles, the DS-10 series prevents erosion of downstream equipment, improves fluid quality, and maximizes thermal efficiency.
When steam or air containing condensate enters the separator, it strikes an internal baffle. The collision causes heavier moisture droplets and particles to lose momentum and fall to the bottom, where they are guided to the drain discharge port. The dry steam or air then flows around the upper part of the baffle and continues toward the outlet.

Maintenance Tip
Conduct a periodic self-inspection at least once a year to check for external leakage and ensure the internal baffle remains undamaged. If separation performance drops, check if the flow velocity exceeds the recommended limits.
