Spirax Sarco AE30 series automatic air vent valves are specifically designed for liquid systems, with bodies and caps made of dezincification-resistant (DZR) special copper alloy, featuring excellent corrosion resistance and structural stability. The product range includes four models: AE30, AE30A, AE30B, and AE30C, providing diverse functional configurations such as basic venting, with check valve, with locking, and with check valve + locking, meeting various operational requirements. AE30B and AE30C are equipped with a unique three-way locking system that enables valve opening, closing, or conventional ball valve function, requiring Spirax Sarco special key operation for enhanced security.

Product Standards and Certificates

• Compliant with European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, stamping can be provided according to customer requirements.
• Manufacturer test reports can be provided. If certificates are required, they must be clearly specified when ordering.

Free Discharge

• Reference Condition: At air temperature of 16℃, discharge varies with pressure differential (refer to product discharge curve chart for details).
• Temperature Correction Formula: Actual Discharge = Chart Discharge × (273 + T) / 289 (T is actual air temperature, default air temperature equals water temperature).

Installation and Safety Information

Installation Requirements

1. The automatic air vent valve must be installed vertically with the inlet end at the bottom to ensure proper float operation.
2. It is recommended to connect the outlet end to a drain pipe to guide discharge to a drain, avoiding liquid splash.

Spare Parts Usage Instructions

1. Early products AE30 and AE30CV (operating range 0-3bar) can use spare parts common to AE30, AE30A, AE30B, AE30C, but cannot upgrade the operating range to 0-8bar.
2. AE30H and AE30HCV with operating pressure 3-8bar require corresponding early spare parts and cannot be mixed with current spare parts.
