Burkert 560701 Type S022 insertion adapter and fitting for ELEMENT analytical measurement devices. Features PP construction, DN 65, PN 10, and EPDM seal.

Burkert 560701 Type S022 is an insertion adapter and fitting designed to connect compact analytical ELEMENT measuring devices into piping systems or vessels. It is specifically engineered for seamless integration with the Type 8202 pH or oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) transmitter and the Type 8222 conductivity meter. The 560701 variant features a robust PP (Polypropylene) saddle fitting design equipped with an EPDM seal, tailored for DN 65 pipes. It supports flow rates ranging from 60 to 2,000 l/min and operates reliably under nominal pressures up to PN 10 and fluid temperatures between 5 °C and 80 °C.
The broader Type S022 family serves as a universal solution for adapting analytical sensors into standard piping systems or converting existing Bürkert Type S020 fittings into Type S022 configurations. The series accommodates a wide range of pipe diameters, from DN 06 (with reduction) up to DN 110 in plastic materials, and even larger sizes in stainless steel.

Pressure and Temperature Limits
The pressure and temperature limits also depend on the measuring device inserted. Further information can be found in the user manual or data sheet of the inserted device.

Bypass Installation Recommendation
For pH and ORP measurements, we recommend a "U"-form bypass installation to ensure that the electrode is maintained in a wet condition and enable the customer to calibrate the unit without stopping the whole process or to use the special designed analysis measurement chamber.

It must also be ensured that the sensor element is completely covered with liquid. Avoid dead legs which interfere with the local fluid exchange.
Minimum Insertion Depth
When mounting the adapter into a T-fitting, a tank or directly into a pipe, please ensure that the minimum immersion depth of the electrode of the measuring device used is respected.
