BURKERT 454192 3/2-Way Direct-Acting Solenoid Valve, Type 0330, PP/FKM, NPT 1/4

BURKERT 454192 (Type 0330) is a direct-acting, media-separated pivoted armature solenoid valve. Configured as a 3/2-way variant, it operates as a distributing valve (Circuit function F). The solenoid coils are moulded with a chemically resistant epoxy. Since the coil system is separated from the medium by a diaphragm, the valve is especially suitable for critical media such as aggressive acids and alkalis. This specific model features a Polypropylene (PP) body, FKM (Fluor rubber) seals, a 4.0 mm orifice, and an NPT 1/4 port connection, operating at 120V/60Hz.

The valve is equipped with a service-friendly, robust manual override for start-up and testing. It utilizes maintenance-free pivoted armature technology and a vibration-proof, block screwed coil system.

Safety and Installation

DANGER!

Risk of injury from high pressure in the system/device ▶ Before working on equipment or device, switch off the pressure and deaerate/drain lines.

Risk of injury from electric shock ▶ Before working on the system or device, switch off the power supply and secure against reactivation. ▶ Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical devices.

WARNING!

Risk of burns or fire from hot device surfaces due to prolonged activation time ▶ Keep the device away from highly flammable substances and media and do not touch with bare hands.

Before installation:

  • Check pipelines for soiling and clean if required.
  • For safe operation of the solenoid valve, a dirt trap (≤ 500 µm) must be installed before the valve inlet.

Manual override: When manual override is locked, the valve cannot be electrically actuated. Press and hold the manual override, then turn clockwise to lock.
